Roger Protz is the godfather of beer writers. He joined CAMRA in 1976 and has edited over 20 editions of CAMRAs Good Beer Guide, working on it between 1978-83 and 2000-2018. He's also written dozens more books about his passion for great beer. We are delighted to welcome him to Nottingham Craft Beer Week 2021 for two events...

This event will focus around Roger's books '300 Beers To Try Before You Die' and '300 More Beers To Try Before You Die'. These are two personal and comprehensive portfolios of international beers compiled by one of the world’s leading beer writers.

Tickets are just £5 and the price includes a paperback copy of the 'More' book (RRP £14.99), which Roger will be happy to sign for you on the night.

IPA: A Legend In Our Time

This event will focus around his book IPA: A Legend In Our Time, an exploration of the rebirth of IPA or India Pale Ale one of the most popular styles in today’s craft beer revolution.
