A bit of history about our festival site and how to find it...

Nottingham Craft Beer Festival takes place at Sneinton Market Avenues, a historic and culturally significant site within Nottingham City Centre. It even has it's own website, which you can check out at sneintonmarketavenues.com.

The site has been a hive of commercial activity for over 150 years, but in the 1930s a series of buildings were created to house food and beverage wholesalers. It is in the footprint of that site that our festival takes place, but instead of fruit and veg at NCBF we specialise in craft beer and street food.

On a day-to-day basis today, Sneinton Market Avenues houses a range of unique businesses, many of which remain open when the festival is on. So if you want to get your hands on some vegan chocolates or some vintage fashion while you’re here you can do that too. See a full list of businesses on the site here.

Train
If you are coming by train, it’s a 15-minute walk from Nottingham Train station. Alternatively you can make this a little shorter by getting onto a tram within the train station.

Tram
The nearest Nottingham tram stop to the festival site is ‘Lace Market’. If you get off there it’s approximately 6minutes walk to the site, walking down the hill through Hockley.

Bus
If you are coming into Nottingham by national bus from either Victoria or Broad Marsh bus station it’s less than 15minutes walk from each of those to the site. If you’re getting a bus from within Nottingham, we are around 10minutes walk from Victoria Centre or the Market Square.

Car
First and foremost, if you are coming by car then please make sure you have a designated driver appointed in your group and that they know their legal drinking and driving limits. It’s also worth us pointing out that the city centre gets busy when our festival is on, so although we can direct you to a few places nearby to park it still might be hard for you to get a space in them on the day. The nearest carpark to the Avenues is Sneinton Market Square Car Park on Aberdeen Street, which is free for the first hour and has electric charging points. There is also some on-street parking around this area. Some are free for up to 2 hours, and some are £1.20 an hour. Check out Parkopedia for more info. The Lace Market Car Park and the Stoney Street NCP site are also both within a 5 minute walk away.
