Cock & Hoop
Situated in a Grade II listed building, the Cock & Hoop dates back to the 1800s but is now a traditional style pub predominantly serving local cask ales...

While cask ale is their specialty, they also have a fridge with a good craft beer selection to drink in or take away. The food at the Cock & Hoop is also fantastic and highly reviewed - serving up pub classics to warm the soul.
It’s located just across the road from the National Justice Museum, and is the onsite bar for the Lace Market Hotel. When it used to be a public house, barristers would book rooms to watch the hanging of criminals across the road. Nowadays it’s a dog-friendly pub.
